Our network crosses the breadth of the
country and our team members are as local
as they get. We are an employer, a neighbour
and a member of these communities and every
year we support and engage in a number of
community initiatives including:
•
•
Participating in major exhibition events:
—
—
Maitland Steamfest: supported this premier
event for the thirteenth consecutive year.
In addition to our regular train pathing and
planning support, this year we stepped it up
with our own rail track display with heavy
machinery demonstrations for the festival
goers
—
—
AgQuip Gunnedah: Partnered with
Transport for NSW again to host a joint
stall at this primary industry event, with
a key focus on spreading the message of
level crossing safety
—
—
Henty Field Days: We used this major
farming event to promote awareness of
track safety
—
—
We participated as the major sponsor of
the 150th anniversary of the first rail link in
Queensland (which linked Toowoomba and
Ipswich)
—
—
We were actively involved in the Heritage
Bank Toowoomba Royal Show and the
event’s Blue Ribbon sponsor.
