BUSINESS
ARTC’s Interstate business provides a critical link in
the nation’s east coast and east west supply chains,
connecting Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide
and Perth. We provide customers with access
to intermodal routes, intrastate and shorter haul
paths and support the growing resources industry,
particularly in South Australia.
Service reliability is the key performance measure for
those making rail their transport mode of choice and
ARTC has been working hard over the past year to
make our corridor more efficient and reliable.
* Gross Tonne Kilometres is a measure that represents the total weight
of goods transported multiplied by the total distance travelled.
