Signalling

This page refers to all RIW Signalling roles.

All signalling roles have an expiry date of four (4) years where continued proof of currency of skills is required.

STEP 1

Ensure you have read the procedure ESP-20-01 Signals Rail Safety Worker Competency Procedure and understand the key points from the procedure.

NOTE:

  • All documents used as evidence of competence need to be uploaded into RIW for your role to be assessed.
  • For contractors documents need to be uploaded into RIW by your organisation.
  • For employees send to your training coordinator to upload into RIW.

STEP 2

Identify the role you are seeking from the matrix and add to your RIW card profile.

NOTE: Matrix identifies minimum requirements. This does not mean competence across the entire network. Local requirements may still be required.

STEP 3

Signals forms for use in registering for a statement of competence can be found on the ARTC internet at:

STEP 4

Upload your Statement of Competence (SOC) and required documentation to your RIW profile.
