Track machine work – Muswellbrook to Bylong NSW

ARTC continually operates track machines across the network to improve track conditions and allow safer, more reliable, and quieter rail operations.
A rail grinding machine will be operating along the Ulan line, from Muswellbrook to Bylong from 6:00pm Sunday 25 September through until 6:00pm Tuesday 27 September 2022.
This work will be completed in periods when fewer trains operate allowing the work to be undertaken safely and efficiently, meaning that there will be some late-night and overnight work.
The rail grinding machine may be stabled at different locations at various times throughout the works to perform machine maintenance.
