Rail Maintenance Works, Stawell, Victoria

We will be carrying out scheduled track maintenance and improvement works, including a level crossing renewal, at Seaby Street, Stawell, Victoria.
The level crossing will be closed for the duration of the work, with a detour in place for Seaby Street, via Luke Street, Curtis Street, Johnson Street, Griffith Street, Barnes Street and Taylor Street.
Works will commence Monday 30th September 2024 and run from 7:00am until 5:00pm daily and continue through to Wednesday 2nd October 2024.
How could this work affect you?
We will begin mobilising to site and carrying out minor preparation work in the days prior to the maintenance work commencing. Site clean-up will commence following the maintenance work and will be completed during standard construction hours.
There may be some traffic impacts, and it will be noisy at times. Please be assured that we will implement measures to manage and minimise these impacts on the community where possible.
We will turn off machinery when not in use, arrange work in stages and/or phase the equipment used at one time to reduce noise impacts where possible. The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our works where possible.
Temporary signage will safely guide all road users around any changed traffic conditions. Please keep to the speed limits and follow the direction of the traffic controllers and signs where appropriate.
