Rail Maintenance Works- Mile End to Islington, SA
July 10 - July 14
Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be carrying out commissioning of ARTC Signalling infrastructure between Mile End and Islington commencing 10:30pm 10th July to 12:00am 14th July 2024.
Our contractor will be mobilising to the area on the 8th July to undertake pre-testing activities.
As we are upgrading and commissioning the signalling infrastructure in this period, train services will continue to operate and there will be speed restrictions on ARTC rail traffic, so please take care when using pedestrian crossings as trains will be slower than usual.
This commissioning will include night work however civil works are planned for daylight hours.
How could this work affect you?
There will be light industrial vehicles in the area, and at times pedestrian crossing access may need to closed for short period while signals are being tested. There will be controlled/escorted pedestrian crossing opportunities.
