Rail Maintenance Work- Ovingham to Islington

Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) will be completing essential track maintenance and improvement works on Sunday 14 July 2024 at numerous locations between Ovingham and Islington. Works will commence from 6:30am to 7:00pm on Sunday 14 July.
We will begin mobilising to sites and completing minor preparation work prior to the work commencing and there will be site clean-up in the days following. All preparation and clean-up work will be completed during standard working hours.
How could this work affect you?
It will be noisy at times, there may be some traffic impacts, and some dust may be generated. Please be assured that we will implement measures to manage and minimise these impacts on the community where possible.
We will turn off machinery when not in use, arrange work in stages and/or phase the equipment used at one time to reduce noise impacts where possible.
The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our works where possible.
