Rail Bridge Maintenance Work- Boambee Creek Bridge

We will be carrying out essential maintenance works of the Boambee Creek Bridge, New South Wales, commencing from Monday 12th February 2024.
Railway bridge works are expected to run until 30th November 2024. This work will be completed between the hours of 6:00am and 6:00pm weekdays and 7:00am to 5:00pm weekends, starting Saturday 21st September.
To facilitate this maintenance works the Boambee Creek pedestrian bridge will be closed and the walkway between Boambee Headland carpark and Boambee Bay reserve will be periodically closed on weekdays between 6:00am and 6:00pm.
Access to Boambee Bay Reserve from the Headland Car Park is still available from Sawtell Road.
The maintenance work will involve the use of machinery, vehicles and plant which will generate some noise. We will turn off machinery when not in use, arrange work in stages and/or phase the equipment used at one time to reduce noise impacts where possible.
The movement of materials and machinery on site may result in the generation of dust. We will take practical measures to reduce the amount of dust produced by our work where possible.
