Interstate Network: Rail Maintenance Telarah to Acacia Ridge Corridor

The Interstate Network will undergo routine maintenance works as part of a scheduled shutdown of the Telarah to Acacia Ridge corridor on Saturday 30 October and Sunday 31 October 2021. The works will take place across various locations between Dungog, NSW and Bromelton, QLD, with some locations requiring night works.
Works will include track reconditioning and strengthening, rail replacement, road bridge works, ballast cleaning, vegetation control, rail corridor tidy-up work and signal maintenance.
There will be some noise, dust and road impacts associated with the works. We apologise for any disruption or inconvenience caused and thank the community for its support and patience while these essential works are taking place.
The maintenance and improvement work during these scheduled shutdowns is critical to the on-going safety and reliability of the rail network.
